Writing Reflection

Writing is kind of a challenge for me. It's not that I don't like writing. It's just that it's difficult for me. I find writing difficult because whenever I write I usually tell and don't show what I'm writing about. I like writing when it's free writing or simple because it's not to be checked and it's actually my writing. But when it comes to editing and revising my writing that's what makes it challenging. Actually editing isn't so hard. Revising is what I needed to work on more. I guess I grew as a writer throughout this year. I was told in almost all my writing to work on the same problem. I was told that the details and grammar were good and my writing is organized, but to show not tell and explain so that my writing can be as clear as it can be for the reader. I've tried to work on that and have gotten better, maybe I haven't mastered it but I'm doing better than I did at the beginning of 8th grade.
