My response to The Achievement Gap is that I doubt some things. Like the statistic that said that high school graduates live up to 7 years longer than high school dropouts. To me that's kind of exaggerating. For some cases it could be because people make certain decisions like becoming drug addicts, or being involved in illegal activities, instead of changing and becoming better, for a comfortable future. It makes me wonder why choose wrong if you know the consequences and are taking a risk of a worse future.

I agree, but not everyone wants to go to high school or graduate from high school,it is their choice and if you didn't graduate from high school, that doesn't mean your life is ended.
ReplyDeleteYour right in a way but i didn't mean that your life is ended if you don't go to high school. You are just more likely to have a more difficult time if you don't go to high school. I just think you should if you want go to high school if not thats your choice.
ReplyDeleteThat's true how some people don't want to go to high school and they will have a difficult life. They will go through struggles and the struggles are hard to over come.
ReplyDeleteI agree struggles are hard to over come. Also not going to high school will cause you not to have a good job. You won't earn as much money as high school or college graduates.
